An ultra-rare pop single originally released in 1959 on the New York City based Cleff-Tone label featuring vocalist Jan Amber, "Withering Words " b/w "Pick It Up" features a heartbreaking ballad on the "A" side, and a much lighter, almost bossa nova type dance number on the flip. A very capable vocalist, this single by Jan Amber is one of the very few that she recorded in her short career. This vintage single has been newly remastered for this special release, and finally made available in the digital domain.
